Under the Data Provision Requirements 2012, Priority Management Australia is required to collect personal information about you and to disclose that personal information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER).
Your personal information (including the personal information contained on this enrolment form), may be used, or disclosed by Priority Management Australia for statistical, administrative, regulatory and research purposes. Priority Management Australia may disclose your personal information for these purposes to:
- Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies; and
Personal information that has been disclosed to NCVER may be used or disclosed by NCVER for the following purposes:
- populating authenticated VET transcripts;
- facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage;
- pre-populating RTO student enrolment forms;
- understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and
- administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring, and evaluation.
You may receive a student survey which may be administered by a government department or NCVER employee, agent or third party contractor or other authorised agencies. Please note you may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.
NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the National VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER’s website at www.ncver.edu.au).

Priority Management uses information provided by clients to maintain a central database for all Priority Management products and services. Information provided by clients is also used to update the central database if your contact details change.
Privacy of your Personal Information.
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and the requirements of the Australian Training Framework.
What information do we collect?
We collect different types of information from you. This includes:
- Your name
- Your occupation, employer, work address, work phone number(s), and email address.
- Assessments of your skill levels when required by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) whenever a qualification is being sought.
- Your evaluation of the courses and services that we supply
- Transaction information including credit card details (if relevant).
Why do we collect your information?
We collect your information for a variety of reasons including:
- Identifying you within our system.
- Maintaining accurate records of courses, you have attended.
- To better understand your needs.
- Quality Assurance and continuing and the continuing improvement of our service.
- To offer you products and information that we think may be of interest and benefit to you.
Who do we share your information with?
We are required to share your information with ASQA and the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER) when a qualification is being sought.
We may be asked by your employer or by people within your organisation for the names of individuals that have completed a particular course. They may also want to know what you thought of the course and/or or services.
Information from the Questionnaires and Skills Assessments you complete will be sent to you and to specified people within your organisation, but no-one else. We may use this information in an aggregated and ‘de-identified’ format for Quality Assurance purposes.
Questions we are often asked.
Do I have to sign anything? Organisations are required to inform clients of their Privacy Policy. Some organisations will advise clients that providing personal information is taken by them to indicate consent. However, the Australian Quality Training Framework standards require that we obtain your signature. We will ask you to provide this at the Workshop when you register.
I don’t mind you having my details but I don’t want anyone else contacting me. Please indicate this by ticking the relevant box(es) on the Priority Management registration form.
What happens if I change my mind about how my personal information is used? Just contact the office and we will provide you with a replacement registration form to sign and return. We will then update your preferences on our central database.
Can I access my personal information? Please write to us and mark your request Attention: Records Manager. We prefer to receive written requests so that we can verify your identity.
Data Breach Response Plan
Actual or potential data breaches can be suspected, discovered or reported by any staff member or client. All actual or potential data breaches should be reported immediately to company management, who will implement the company’s Data Breach Response Plan.
In the event of an ‘eligible data breach’ under the Notifiable Data Breach scheme, Priority Management will notify individuals and the Australian Privacy and Information Commissioner if required.
